The Planning & Zoning Commission invites citizens
to speak on any City business item. In accordance with the Open Meetings Act,
comments of public interest will be heard, but no action may be taken by the
Planning & Zoning other than to refer the item to a future agenda. Please
complete and submit to the City Administrator a “Public Meeting Appearance”
sheet prior to the meeting.
1) Citizen’s Comments
Public Hearings
The Public Hearing agenda is provided for the purpose
of allowing citizens to ask specific questions regarding only the subject
posted for the Public Hearing. Generally the Public Hearing is required by
State Law and a record of those attending the Public Hearing is maintained as
part of the official record of the proceedings.
2)
Public Hearing/Consideration/Discussion/Action to consider an application
request for an SUP for 8.189± acres situated in the James Lovelady Survey,
Abstract number 538 Collin County, Texas. Applicants Charles and Lynda Blaylock
are requesting the approval of an SUP request for a property which is currently
zoned agricultural (AO). The SUP will allow for horse boarding. The property is
located at

The Action Items are intended to provide the
Commission the opportunity to discuss the issue at hand and ask questions of
the applicant. Generally, the public is not to comment during this time;
however, the Chairperson may make an exception.
3) Consideration/Discussion/Action of an
application request for preliminary plat. Jed Dolson
is requesting the approval of a preliminary plat for 46.892 ± acres located in the
J. Snider Survey abstract NO. 824 and
4) Consideration/Discussion/Action to approve the minutes
from the November 9 Planning and Zoning meeting.
Routine Business
5) Discussion of items to be placed on future agendas.
6) Adjournment.
As
authorized by Section 551.071 (2) of the Local Government Code, the Planning
and Zoning Commission may convene into closed Executive Session for the purpose
of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney regarding any item
on the agenda at any time during the meeting.
