NOTICE is hereby given that the Regular Meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Lucas will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lucas City Annex, 185 Country Club Road, Lucas, Texas, at which time the following Agenda will be discussed.

Citizen Comments

The Planning & Zoning Commission invites citizens to speak on any City business item. In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, comments of public interest will be heard, but no action may be taken by the Planning & Zoning other than to refer the item to a future agenda. Please complete and submit to the City Administrator a “Public Meeting Appearance” sheet prior to the meeting.

 

1) Citizen’s Comments.

 

Regular Agenda

The Action Items are intended to provide the Commission the opportunity to discuss the issue at hand and ask questions of the applicant. Generally, the public is not to comment during this time; however, the Chairperson may make an exception.

 

2) Discuss and Consider the approval of the minutes from the March 13, 2008

Planning & Zoning Commission meeting. [City Secretary]

 

3) Discuss and Consider the approval of Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions for Wolf Creek Phase II, Wolf Creek Lucas Investors, LP, 39.67 ± acres, 27 residential lots located on the NE corner of Forest Grove Road and

Country Club.

 

4) Discuss and Consider the approval of the preliminary plat for New Lineage

Custom Homes, Lots 1-14, Block A, 14 residential lots on 26.23 ± acres situated

in the Calvin Boles Survey, Abstract No. 28, City of Lucas, Collin County, Texas.

Commonly known as The Ranch at Pecan Grove. [Located at the NW corner of

Forest Grove Road and Stonegate Blvd.]

 

5) Discuss and Consider refining the definitions of accessory structures such as

swimming pools, basketball courts, tennis courts, and playground equipment.

 

6) Discuss and Consider the use of an accessory building as secondary residence.

 

7) Adjournment.

 

As authorized by Section 551.071 (2) of the Government Code, the Planning and Zoning

Commission may convene into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney regarding any item on the agenda at any time during the meeting.
