The Mayor and City Council invite citizens to speak on any City
business item. In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, comments of public
interest will be heard, but no action may be taken by the City Council other
than to refer the item to a future agenda. Please complete and submit to the
City Administrator a “Public Meeting Appearance” sheet prior to the meeting.

3) Discuss and Consider approval of an
ordinance authorizing the issuance of “City of Lucas, Texas Combination Tax and
Limited Pledge Revenue Certificates of Obligation, Series 2007”; providing for
the payment of said certificates by the levy of an ad valorem tax upon all
taxable property within the City and further securing said certificates by a
lien on and pledge of the pledged revenues of the system; providing the terms
and conditions of said certificates and resolving other matters incident and
relating to the issuance, payment, security, sale and delivery of said certificates;
authorizing the execution of a paying agent/registrar agreement and a purchase
and investment letter; complying with the requirements of the letter of representations
with the depository trust company.
4) Discuss and Consider
the approval of the preliminary plat for applicant Claremont Springs II, LTD to
include sidewalk and access waiver for Claremont Springs Phase II situated in
the J. Snider Survey, Abstract No. 824, in Collin County, Texas. [Claremont

5) Discuss and Consider the appointment
of an alternate commissioner for the
Planning & Zoning

6) Discuss and Consider
the chairperson, location, and time for the Lucas Parade (Founder’s Day).

an amendment to the agreement between the City of

Executive Session
The City Council may
convene in Executive Session in accordance with the Texas Government Code. All decisions
regarding the discussion of the Executive Session must be made in Open Session.
13) City Council pursuant to §551.074 of
the Texas Government Code may convene into Executive Session for the purpose of
reviewing the performance expectations of the City Secretary.
Routine Business
14) Discuss and Consider
any action necessary regarding the Executive Session.
15) Discuss and Consider items to be
placed on a future agenda.
16) Adjournment.
As authorized by Section
551.071 (2) of the
convene into closed Executive
Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City
Attorney regarding any item on the agenda at any time during the meeting.
