1. Public Hearing and
Consideration/Discussion/Action on an ordinance of the city council of the City
of Lucas, Collin County, Texas, adopting the Tax Rate and
levying the Ad Valorem Taxes for the Fiscal Year
2007-2008 to provide revenue
for the payment of current expenditures;
providing a severability clause; providing
a repealing clause; and providing an
effective date. (Current Tax Rate is .375;
proposed Tax Rate is .375) [2nd Public Hearing to be held on September 6,
2007]
2. Public Hearing and
Consideration/Discussion/Action on an ordinance of the City of Lucas adopting
the Budget for Fiscal Year Beginning October 1, 2007 and
ending September 30, 2008; for said Fiscal Year
shall be made in accordance
with said budget; appropriating and setting aside
the necessary funds out of the
General and other revenues for said
fiscal year for the maintenance and
operation of the various departments and for
various activities and improvements
of the City; providing a repealing clause;
providing a severability clause; and
providing an effective date. (Copy of proposed
budget available at City Hall upon
request) [2nd Public Hearing to be held on September 6,
2007]
