City Council Budget Workshop July 27, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. City Annex - 185 Country Club Road

Notice is hereby given that a Budget Workshop of the City Council of the City of Lucas will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2005, at 6:00 PM at the Lucas City Annex, 185 Country Club Road, Lucas, Texas, at which time the following Agenda will be discussed.

Agenda Call to Order Call to Order Roll Call Determination of Quorum Reminder to turn off or silence cell phones and pagers

Citizen Input The Mayor and City Council invites citizens to speak on any City business item. In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, comments of public interest will be heard, but no action may be taken by the City Council other than to refer the item to a future agenda. Please complete and submit to the City Secretary a “Request to Speak” sheet prior to the meeting.

1) Council to hear comments from citizens

Workshop Session The Workshop Agenda is used for the purpose of allowing discussion and gathering information on items that may need future action. In some cases, the Council may direct the staff to proceed with certain actions that do not necessarily call for the action in the form of a Resolution, Ordinance or Policy Statement

2) Discussion/Review of City budget and expenditures for Fiscal Year 2006-2007.

3) Take any action as necessary from the Workshop.

4) Adjournment.

As authorized by Section 551.071 (2) of the Texas Local Government Code, the City Council may convene into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney regarding any item on the agenda at any time during the meeting.
