Hello Lovejoy ISD,

     My name is Judy Hise and I'm running for a seat on the Lovejoy ISD School Board.  I am running because I feel it is time for a change and also time for a fresh face with a new perspective and new energy.  My husband, Frank, and I have lived in the Lovejoy district for nearly 6 years.  We have 3 children, Samantha-6th grade,
Tripp-5th grade, and Rachel-2nd grade, who will all be in the district until they graduate from high school.
      I have served on the Hart PTA executive board for the last 3 years, of which the last 2 years I have held the honored position of PTA president.  Being president has taught me how to work with several people with different points of view, which I feel is a must when serving a district as unique as Lovejoy. 
      I am a member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church (formerly known as First Baptist Church of Fairview), where I taught Bible study for kindergarten, first, and second graders for 3 years, Vacation Bible School for 4 years, and I sang in the choir for 5 years.  I also just completed my first season of being assistant coach for my youngest daughter's basketball team.  I have also been a very consistent substitute teacher at Hart Elementary for the past 2 years, which I feel gives me another point of view from the teacher's perspective. 
      I feel all of these activities give me a well-rounded perspective and I would appreciate your vote on May 7th for Judy Hise for Lovejoy School Board.
